My 8 month old baby's facial rash?
my 8 month old baby developed a rash on her face and became unwell, so i took her to the doctor, he said it was a viral infection and would go with time, its been about 6 weeks now..and ive been back the doctors several times, they just keep saying it will go in time, shes not unwell anymore but the rash wont budge..it is from under her eyes all the way down her face, and flares up really bad when she eats or rubs her face, anyone else had this with their baby?? thank you
Is my friends baby ok?
I have a friend she delivered her baby on month premature. The baby is now three months old and when I snap my fingers or put my hand in front of his face he doesn't flinch or really respond. He always stares at a certain object and fixes on it. He also has a tendancy to turn his head to one side and one side only.
My husband, 3yr old and I are moving across the world ... have a baby now or after?
Should we conceive now so that I can be on maternity leave when we travel move? Or, should I wait until I start work there to get pregnant?

My daughter is almost 5 months old and we have recently put her in her own room with her new cot she's been sleeping in a carrycot in our bedroom but now seems to be having a lot of trouble getting to sleep. Our old routine used to work really well bath, feed, story, cuddle then bed and she slept through the night at 2 months old. She does have a dummy but as she's gotten older and started grabbing at things, she now grabs it and pulls it out. She can't put it back in her mouth and ends up putting it up her nose or in her eye quite funny to see . So... should I wean her off her dummy and let her cry it out? Should I sit next to her and keep putting it back in? She's never taken to her thumb I weaned her off her dummy for about 2 weeks before but it seems to really help her with her teething .Anyone also dealing with this? Or have some advice?Why would anyone bother answering like that? " she's a person, not a dog" . If you don't understand something, like the fact that I'm from the UK then don't be rude, just ask what the words you don't know mean. Idiot troll. She's too big for her carry cot now, when she bangs her legs, she hits them against the rim of it and hurts her heels. I was swaddling but my HV said that I shouldn't as she's quite old now and it can hinder development... Thanks for the SERIOUS answers guys I forgot to include the dummys I was using, sorry. I have a couple of different ones... I mainly use the 0 6mths Avent ones which are quite flat. I tried Tommy ones but she doesn't seem to like them. I tried Tesco's own 6 18mths we forgot her dummy when we were out once so had to get an emergency stash which are cherry shaped and quite large. She wasn't too keen on them at first but I might try them again...
He wants a baby NOW or he says we are done!?
Hi, I've been married two years....it hasn't been that great. Lots of fighting, he gets really angry when he is mad, he will yell, swear at me, he's pushed me before and he always threatens to leave if he is mad at me.He moved out four months ago, we still see each other regularly and are together. The goal of him moving out was for us to resolve our issues. It hasn't really happened. Tried counseling sporadically, I want to go back regularly, he agrees. We were too wound up in counseling, the counselor just ended up watching us fight for an hour.For past month things have been better, seem to have re connected again, slowly talking about him moving back in.One BIG issue has been having kids. I keep saying, " show me no anger and no threatening to leave" for a few consistent months, then no problem. But HE says he only gets mad because I won't have his baby. He says his anger is the symptom not the problem.Today he said he wants me to go off the pill and start trying to get pregnant. I said, no not yet. I want to work on you moving back in here first. I am 38 1 2 years old. He is very concerned about my age.He says I am " ten steps behind him" , that he is ready for a baby NOW and that he does not want this life with me unless it includes a child. He says I should be talking about a baby and feeling excited to have his child. I try to bring up my concerns, I swear, he seems to just cut me off and say that He is ready now. He doesn't seem to really care about my concerns. In fact today he was getting angry, said he wished he could hit me, and then he walked off.I seem to always be wanting to please him and I always beg him not to go, not to leave me. I don't really know why, I am beautiful, professional, intelligent, good family, etc. He grew up with abusive mother and spent his teen years in group homes. He doesn't talk to his brother, or mother. He has a child under ten that lives in another city with her mother. He really just talks to her on the phone, sees her once a year. He allowed the mother's new husband to adopt the child. He seems in pain a lot over missing his kid.Geez, I really don't want to lose him, but his behaviour gives me red flags. Do I give in and start trying to get pregnant? I even said, let's wait until December and see how things go and he said he doesn't want to wait that long, that I need to make him happy and give him a child.Please I will appreciate ANY comments or feedback, thank you so much...

Red dots on my baby's face?
My 5 day old baby has about 10 or more little red pink dots on her one cheek. hasn't been there for too long as i just noticed it. Could this be heat rash or something else? what can i do to prevent this from happening and how to fix it.
