My cars check engine light is on?
The code is saying something about the air intake and one store said the secondary air injection something... The light has come on for maybe a month at a time and then it would go off sometimes, but I need to take care of it b c it wont pass inspection.The people at the auto store cant explain to me what the code means or what I need. Does anyone have any ideas? NOTES there is a little hose type thing right near the front of the car on the passenger side that looks like its missing a piece on top of it. NOBODY who has ever looked at my car knows whats supposed to go there.ALSO, my AC isnt really getting cold anymore...havent used it much since last summer Any ideas?I have a 1999 Chevy Malibu.THANKS im broke which is why im asking here. i cant afford to pay somebody to look at it right now.

Why do people say new cars are longer lasting than the old?
When's the last time your Honda engine starting steaming and didn't come out with engine damage? My 1947 Cadillac over heated 3x and even had water poured on it in error and still did not suffer any damage or cracks. Think a new car can do that? When's the last time you drove a car that had the same engine and transmission as a WW2 tank?
My cars just stops while driving, and then restarts after 20-30 minutes do you think it's the fuel pump?

Which car should i get saturn sc2 or saturn ion?
Hey guys, im looking into getting my first car and i hear saturn makes really good first cars since they are pretty cheap but they are reliable and last a long time.So i am COMPLETELY stuck between two cars, the 2002 saturn sc2 and the 2004 06 saturn ion.the sc2 is a little bit older but i look the looks of it, however the interior is very primative. the saturn ion apparently is a tad bit less reliable but the looks are just as good and the interior is wayy updated from the sc2. Stripping and cleaning a starter motor from a car. how do i go about this?
