What is your favorite non AKC dog breed?
Okay, so I'm not talking about those designer dogs byb sell for ridiculous prices and pin a cute name on like morkie and cockapoo. And I'm not talking mutts either. You know those breeds that are non AKC recognized? Like, they're identifyed as a breed, but do not meet AKC standards? Yeah, those ones. I have a very agile, brown and white Mcnab stockdog with her lil floppy ears who I adore. So that is of course, my fave non AKC breed, but what about yours? Lots of answers please This is sorta like a survey I suppose you could say And I want to have new dogs to research that I haven't heard of yet. What dog is known to be the healthiest AKC dog breed?
Curious, that's all Anyway, I know a lot of breeds golden retrievers, labradors, german shepherds, great danes, etc. are known for unhealthful genetic tendencies like hip dysplasia and cataracts. So what is at least in your opinion the healthiest purebred dog today? Which tends to be the least healthy?

Each year after Westminster, I make the same proposal we have sporting, non sporting, working, toy, etc dog groups. I propose a new classification the Useless dog group.Charter members could be Yorkies, Papillions, Toy poodles, chihuahuas or any other dog that serves no real useful purpose.Thoughts?What is it with all the angry Boxer haters on this board?
