Bad experiences using electronic dog collars?
I would never use these collars, I think they are extremely cruel. But my boss got one for her dog and I want to tell her of the bad experiences people have had using them.
Where are the video game dog collars?
Where can I find dog collars with video game themes like the Zelda Triforce or Mario mushrooms, etc.? Surely, I'm not the first geek to want to deck my dog out in video game gear...

I bought my dog a personalised dog collar a number of years ago. It was the two tier one that had the removable strap to slide the letters on then you reattach the strap. I would like to start my own business doing these well more as a hobby too. However cannot seem to find them anywhere just on there own. Could any one help..? much appreciated
Electric dog collars...?
What is your take on the electric dog collars that are said to train dogs not to bark? Do you think they're humane? Would you ever use one? I'm just curious, I'm not thinking of getting one. I'd just like to here opinions. Thanks in advance

Ii want to do some fund raising for PDSA or RSPCA and i thought a good way to do this was to buy leather collars and just stick some diamante letters on to customize them. Does any one know where i could buy leather dog collars in bulk at like wholesale prices quite cheap.Thanks

Has anyone heard anything good about magnetic dog collars for relieving arthritis symptoms in dogs? I have a greyhound who broke his front and back leg when he raced and now he has really bad arthritis. He also has a screw in each of his legs from the surgery. Any suggestions? He's already on glucosamine and it hasn't helped much at all. ANyone know anything I can do to help him out a little more?

Dog collar and Flea medicine combined ??
My dogs are nibbling a little more than they usually do for the summer. Their regular medication wasn't working and we've gone to flea collars.Now, can we apply the flea medicine WITH the collars. I mean the one that comes in tubes that is spread down the spine between the shoulders?Also, what would be best for removing fleas? Do I need to cut down the weeds in the back? Our old place had a maintenance guy clipping the grass every 3 weeks and here we have to do it but don't own a lawn mower or a weed whacker. Any assistance would be appreciated.Thank you.

I'm not starting an arguement here....harness vs. collar. vs choke vs. prongI do keep hearing about how " you can hurt your doggie's neck with a regular collar if you pull too much...blah blah blah" Can someone please share experiences where their dog's necks were snapped by a regular collar? choked to death by a choke collar...or pierced through by a prong?Sorry...yet to meet a dog who was hurt by using the traditional dog equipment..Just my own thoughts on the subject....you can kill hurt a dog with a regular collar and a harness...if you really really try.Thank you...In a round about way it just takes me longer...sometimes..lol ...I agree that its the owner that hurts the dog...not the collar. Going back to the questions such as" Dont ever use a choke because it can hurt dogs?" ....technically yes...but you can also hurt with anything else...as long as you are mental or stupid enough to do so

theres a dog collar my friend was telling me about... it has metal thingies on it and whenever you pull on the leash, it simulates the mother biting the dogs neck. does anyone know what that collar is called??
The fur around my dogs collar is red?
i just took my dogs collar of and he fur underneath it was red, only fir the fir underneath it though no where else, my dogs a golden retriever and hes very light almost yellow so its kind of scary to see, was it thecollarr that did that? the thing that's making me nervous is that i just died my hair red and my dog had broken down the gate while i was at my friends house, did he get into the hair die in the trash? if he did wouldn't it be red around his mouth and other areas? is there another explanation?oh yeah and believeve my dog had gotten sick while i was gone ive been gone for the past two days, my mowouldn'tnt let me stay home alone so we left him in the basement i came home 3 or 4 times a day to take him out and feed him, but when i came home today it looks like my dog threw up alot of water, so is it possible he got into something? is that why his fur is red? or os it simply the collar? my mom wont be home for another 2 days so i have no clue what to do im 17 hellpp please the collar is brown not red but the collar is wetthe red does come off mostly, its still a little pink underneath though, should i still be worrying if its coming off?
