I have a beautiful Pomerainian & he's a therepy dog we visit hospital's to cheer up patients & he's also my Service dog. He's well trained & CUTE too His name is POGO, He's cream & white in color & 8 lbs. Does some tricks.

What breed is my dog (pictures)?
This is my new dog Enzo.. Got him from the shelter a few months ago, In his adoption papers it said he is a full breed chihuahua.. He seems too tall and big to be a full breed.. any idea's what he may be mixed with? I am fully aware of Boogies weight problem, he is on a diet & walks about 2 miles a day running playing in the house and yard with Enzo..
I don't know what to do about skinny dog? picture?
This is what the dog looks like this is not the dog, but I felt that I needed to explain that I wasn't talking just a little skinny, I'm very worried mistolar.net images 2008 11 skinny dog.jpgOne of our neighbors had puppies a few weeks ago. With the way our neighborhood is set up you can pretty much see into everyone's yard with out even trying. I know they don't take care of their dogs the way I would mine, they keep them outside all the time. I do see them go out and give them food and water but I don't know how much . I hadn't really paid to much attention, until I was on a walk and one of the puppies came right up to the fence and so I was compelled to pet it , and then the mommy dog came over and I petted her. This is when I noticed she is disgustingly thin. I don't know what to do. For one, we do not have a humane society here, we have Animal Control and they do not have the best reputation...they tend to put them down before attempting to save them depending on whos working that day . So I'm worried if they did come out and decide to take her, then basically unless the " right" person is working that day who's willing to take the time to try and get her adopted out or something, I could have just got her killed. Then there is always the worry about causing conflict with your neighbor, and my daughter is friends with their son at school. I however hadn't really talked to them ever, and don't know them. But I did think about going over and saying something to them. But now I have all kinds of things racing in my head. I'm worried about that dog and I feel like I need to do something. Then because seeing that kind of made me more observant, I noticed the male dog they have is stocky, like he hasn't missed any meals. Both are pit bulls...so then I start thinking what if they breed pits for fighting or something...ugh....All the puppies look healthy.But someone told me that sometimes female dogs just get really skinny like that after giving birth. Now I'm wondering if there is actually nothing wrong, and I'm making it into a big deal when its not. I'm conflicted, and I don't know what to do. Advice? please read The dog in the picture is NOT the dog. I don't have a picture of the actual dog. The picture was to show how skinny the dog is. Most people understood, but I guess I need to point that out.

s839.photobucket.com home Azz123ukhe looks like pippin of the tv but do not automatically say yes its that breed,he looks really long saugage looking he is straight haired mostly black.he has orange bits on his face, white bits, black all over body, grey on his legs.he is called Benji, we found him in the birmingham dogs home, england.he is scared of fireworks and when people raise there hands up and light bulbs.he follows my mom around everywhere even sits in the toilet with her. and heget soooooooooo extied when he has walks, but he doesnt like bath times i have to pick him up and but him in warm water, flea shampoo and just a teeny tiny bit of human conditioner and i blow dry him from afar and he loves that , he gets fed only once a day a dog meat canbut we let him pick at things like we throw down things he wants and if we dont eat our dinner we let him have it. he does sit, paw, other paw, lie down, roll over, up jump , and he knows walkies means walk time, he noes say fast and whisper wheres the cats, he runs to the back door and barks, if we play wid my bros and sis we say get um benje and he goes to play bite and hes normally happy sometimes dopy. Grooming needs for this breed of dog (picture)?
I got some sort of terrier mix from the shelter a few months ago and I'm wondering what sort of grooming needs he has if any. We are having temperatures of 100 degrees here and I am wondering if this sort of breed can be shaved by a groomer like some dogs to be kept cooler. We have an AC in the house and plenty of cool water at hand for him but he prefers to be out in the back yard on hot days with the family. He has such thick black fur and I am concerned about him over heating. He hates getting wet so spraying him down or him getting in the pool in not an option.Also, can anyone tell me what kind of terrier mix he may be? Very overweight dog, pictures includedd?
My dog takes pills for seizures, so they cause him to gain weight. He is also pretty old, so he gains weight more easily. He needs to lose like 30 pounds, but all he does is lay. He won't go on walks and he won't play with me. So how can I get him to lose weight. He isn't over feed, but is there a certain type of food I should give him for weight lose?He is a Labrador Retriever, 130 pounds, 9 years old.
