My yard is really bad with ticks any way I get rid of them and my dogs have them really bad too?
I need help playing with my dogs?
I have 3 dogs. I want to play with them. Here's the problem... I grab or toy or a dog does and entice play, either tug, hide the toy, or fetch since this is inside play. The problem is, the other dogs bark NONSTOP at the dog who I play with. If I switch and give another dog play time too, then the dog I was just playing with will join in and just bark at us while we play. The playing dog isn't barking, just playing.The dogs have trouble playing all together with each other because one is sick and smaller, and even if my big dogs are careful they are they've accidentally hurt her. And I just want to play with them anyway...Aside from shutting 2 in a separate room, what do I do to stop the barking? This is the only behavior issue with them..they are so good all other times...not unruly or wild in the house or anything like that.But the thing is, I will stop playing with one dog to tell the other 2 to stop barking. Then the dog I was just playing with won't play anymore...he or she will act like I was telling them all to stop playing or something....Any ideas please ? Thank you.I give kongs, I just want to play with them too.
Is it bad if a dog gets pregnant in her first heat?
My brothers poodle mix is like 7 months old and she's in heat for her first time and a chiwawa got into our back yard and they mated so were pretty sure she may be pregnant. Is that bad? Also because she's young

I have a dachshund who is about 8 years old. He's been completely fine. He's never been sick before. Today, he has been acting very strange. He won't eat or drink. It looks like he's having trouble opening his mouth. He has some gunk in the corner of his right eye. He's very lethargic. I'm extremely worried, and I'm taking him to the vet tomorrow. What could be wrong though?
My dog wont stop barking?
Every morning he'll bark right before the sun comes up constantly. When other dogs bark he'll join in. And he barks randomly and looks straight at our window where we usually watch him. I dont want to put a muzzle on him or get rid of him. He usually barks for attention. I do give hima hour and a half exercise a day. how can i make him stop before my neibors complain?I give him loads of attention. He is an outside dog. And i give him toys when hes good so he has something to do.

I've been online and done searches, but the only breeders that come up are the super expensive ones that are trying to sell " show dogs" or their just not local enough. So how do I go about finding a breeder, or REPUTABLE place to get a dog?Im totally open to adopting a puppy, but i want to make sure its certified or something like that, and isnt a cross breed. I'd like a purebread. But also, i know a lot of adoption places dont have puppies, just a lot of older dogs.
Can rescues transport dogs?
I fell in love with this BEAUTIFUL Aussie mix in a shelter slightly far away. I'm just wondering if rescues can have dogs transported to different cities. Were there cases where people have asked their dogs to be delivered to an animal shelter closer to them or what? It's a two hour drive, I know two hours isn't THAT bad, but yeah just wondering.
