Question: How to pamper a boy dog?

All my life, I have had small girl dogs. I loved to put bows and clips in their hair and pampering them all the time. But after my little girl died, I have adopted a boarder collie/ Jack russel mix. He's about 20 lbs so he's much bigger then my late cavalier king charles. What can I do to jazz him up (without actually putting clothes on him). I'm DYING to put bows on him, but I'm resisting.... lol What accessories can I put on him without turning him into a girly dog? I still want it to be more fun then just putting a bandanna on him though. And I just like to pamper my dog with things like that. I mean, they like the attention.

I cannot think of a more degrading idea than to put bows on a Border Collie at all, let alone a male! shudder. # Why not treat him to some fun sport training classes instead?

There's no real reason to "jazz " up a dog, but if I were, I'd stick with a plain old bandanna or a nice collar.

The best way to pamper ANY dog isn't by fashion accessories. What they love best is running, playing, etc. Pamper them by making sure you giving them the proper exercise. Take them jogging, romp around the yard with them, take them to a dog park, but make sure you are exercising the dog at a dog park and not sitting on your butt like most owners do even when the dog is running around. Those owners are the ones not paying any attention that their dog pooped, is causing problems, etc.
