What are many variations of large friendly dog breeds?
Just doing some research, for future dogs I want to get.I want to know what breed's mix well together don't get jealous of each other, typically happy all the time ect Good with kids and lot's of people around. Large area's in door's and outdoors will be available. Also, Which large breed's don't shed as much, Mild Allergies .Also, money is not a problem.I just want some good dogs.I own two Shih Tzu's already, and sadly they are getting older and we fear they are going to go to doggy heaven soon. Allergy friendly dog breeds?
so I've been thinking about getting a dog. i m very active and would love a running buddy but i live in norway and we can get very cold winters 4 degrees . i m also allergic to dogs and i don t know of any big, allergy friendly dogs. if i hadn't been allergic i would get an alaskan malamute. i m only 17 but my parents says it s fine. the dog will be mine but they will help me if it gets to hard. i have two younger brothers so the dog can t be too aggressive or impatient. so does anyone know any allergy friendly dogs that is friendly, active and strong?thanks

I'm 5 months pregnant and me and my boyfriend are getting ready to get our own apartment before we have the baby. I would like to get a dog as well, but I'm not sure what kind. Can anyone tell me what kind of small medium sized dogs are good with children, smart, and generally just people friendly? any info would help out, thanks a lot.By the way, I know a retriever would be a good choice but anything over 35 40 lbs is probably out of the question, the apartment complex has a weight limit.I won't be having the baby for a while, and I was planning on getting an older, house broken dog because i know a young puppy and baby would be too much to handle. By the way, I know labs and golden retrievers are a good choice but i CAN NOT get one.

My little brother's birthday is coming up. He is turning 6 years old and some of the family got him presents and my mom decided to get him a puppy. we wanted a kind of dog who is gentle and friendly with everyone, and playful. We had a list of choices for a breed of dog to look for. We decided between golden retriever, beagle, pug, boxer, or a dalmatian. which one is the nicest and friendliest to people espicially children. if you have any other suggestions feel free to tell me with your answer. so basically, which breed is the best recommended to a child like him.i read all the answers, thanks for the help the most popular answers seem to be beagle and golden retriever. so i decided to eliminate the other 3 and narrow it down to a golden retriever and a beagle.

Small FRIENDLY dog breed?
I want to buy a SMALL inside dog. very small, under 20 pounds I would walk it and take it to the park, but it MUST get along with other animals, including chickens. We have chickens, but I don't wanna put it in the fence to go potty and discover it killed some chickens. If it kills chickens I will have to get rid of it. Also can't be a big digger chewer.Any ideas?

i'm looking to buy a puppy.... but i need one that won't get bigger than maybe 10 lbs so it can live in an apartment..... one that will be VERY friendly to me and small chldren... and of course... VERY VERY cute any help?i like dogs that look like muts. like mixed breeds and stuffand i don't like poodles.not a fan of pugs either
