When a dogs pad is cut open does it grow back?
My puppies pad on his foot has a big chunk out of it, its not an open wound and it doesn't bother him, he seems to be fine walking on it and everything. i was just wondering if it grows back? Or will it be like that forever??

So if I use the brand new bottles do you think that would be ok? I figured it's gentle enough because my youngest daughter is 18 months old and I used it for her.

So I live in AR down a dirt road with my grandpa, basicly its me my grandpa and my uncle living here. Anyway my uncle as of late has become kind of an animal horder. He lets his dogs inbreed and won't get rid of any of them. Im jobless and have no car so I don't even have $ to give them to the humane society. Im really sad scared. My grandpa is 98 years old and can't do any thing either. .THESE DOGS NEED HELP THEIR STARVING TO DEATH, DIRTY, COVERED IN TICKS, AND INBREEDING IDK WAT TO DO ' We have an ungodly amount of dogs now, at least over 14. . Can anyone tell me what to do without getting myself and my grandpa in trouble for animal abuse? I feel its my uncle's fault b c he's the one taking care of breeding then like this on purpose. . Plz plz plz help ' '

I currently have a 2 year old german shepherd. I'm a student and when I first got my dog, it was during the summer. During this time, I spent quite a bit of time training and socializing him. I am still young and much of the money used is from my parents specifically my dad. In the beginning he was a very friendly dog but now has turned onto a quite aggressive one. It was around the time when i returned to school and started having less time to spend with him. As he got older he was socialized less, but the the people and dogs he is familiar with, he his friendly too. To strangers he is very aggressive and will bite now. My dad is tired of the dog and does not want to keep him. He is tired about the amount of money needed for our german shepherd and unfortunately has a very strict, tough way of disciplining barking and bad behaviour. I'm not a dog expert but has my reduction in time with socializing him with strangers part of the problem? Originally, i was able to spend 3 5 hours with him a day, taking him out, potty training, obedience, and taking him around the neighborhood to meet dogs and their owners. I invited friends over to help socialize him as well and only the people he is familiar with now, he shows a some to no aggression to. As I became more busy, that time reduced alot, and i had to rely on my dad to take him out during the times when i was not able to. My dad does not want to spend anymore time or money with him. He said he did not want to spend any money on obedience or any training. I am able and willing to pay for it myself but would it be effective if i was the only one who participated? Im not sure what to do. I spent a long time training my dog to the best of my knowledge with research and aid from friends. But i dont think it is as effective as an obedience course that my dad refuses to pay. He insists that it is my dog so i should train him. Over many months of trying to talk to my dad, he still disregards the advice i have given to treat our dog right. Unfortunately he continues with very aggressive discipline. Recently, for the first time he ran out of the yard and very aggressiveness barked at someone jumping on him. I am not sure what to do. I want to keep him but he seems to have gotten to aggressive and im not entirely sure how to deal with it. I am willing to spend money on the training required but my dad will not spend the time for those courses. I am not trying to make my dad sound like a horrible person but i dont know what to do. I know this is my fault as well because i did not spend enough time with him and caused more reliance on him. Should I keep trying to convince him, or should i give my dog to a shelter? I have taught my dog the basics and is most of the time well behaved but i dont think i had the experience to train him properly. Would an expert be effective in helping me and helping me teach our dog even though i dont have the full cooperation of my dad? Would a shelter accept such an aggressive dog. Please, I know it may sound bad the way my dad is treating the dog but he is trying to help, and did not want the dog from the start. Please no negative comments, i do care about my dog greatly.
How to train my Dog to stay on the property?
Right I have a high energy 3year old dog that knows he is not allowed but will wander anyway. I'm at my wits end with him. His name is genius but is far from one. Genius has been neutered since he was a pup, at least six months, I think. He has also started to chew things like blankets. Genius is a mixed breed. Staffy, grey hound, lab is what I can guess so far. He is not socialized with other dogs and we also have new neighbors who have a male bulldog, so Genius is jumping the fence to see that dog but not in a overly friendly manner. All suggestions welcomed please. I need help.Genius gets walked all the time, He wasn't socialized as I was scared when he was younger that he would catch polio and other things before he was fully immunised. I have been trying to socialize him ever since but maybe there is a breed in him that makes him hate other male dogs., Genius is also my first ever dog I have raised so yes I admit lots of mistakes but I need ideas of what I can do, as to him not being chained all the time, we have a run for him so he can be chained and run around at the same time. His personality is so awesome one of a kind dog, caring, protective to my family just no ears lol. I'm also in a rental home at the moment so we cannot change the home. but I have and do intend to be here for a long time. I have heard of PET DOG FENCE SYSTEM WITH ELECTRIC Shock COLLAR but think this would hurt him and I don't want that to happen. Would this be good for him or do more harm.
