For owners of miniature dog breeds, what food do you feed your dog and the approximate cost?
I will be getting a miniature poodle next week and the breeder is currently feeding a brand of food which I will eventually transition to Nature's Variety.I would like to know what food you feed your miniature dog and the cost of food per month. If you are familiar with Nature's Variety, I would like to know your experience.Thanks

Last question. I promise I know there are mini regestered breeds such as miniature bull terriers, Schnauzers etc. but came across miniature bull dogs, Dachshunds, and Australian Shepherd.Are there any negative effects known with these mini breeds?? Or any other thing I should be aware of??

I found out that there is a breed called the alaskan klee kai. My friend told me about it. Aparently its a small version of the husky How on earth do people breed like miniature versions of large dogs? Im confused. Is it like the 'teacup' thing, where they breed two runts to get a 'teacup' puppy?

Moving into my new apartment soon and really want a dog as I've always had one to take care of since I've been like 5. I like bigger dogs but the property owner requires all dogs to be under 20 lbs. As a single college guy living with 2 other friends, I don't want a dog that's going to make us look questionable if you get my drift. I'm looking for something like Klee Klai but with a much nicer price tag. Any suggestions? I would prefer one that can EVENTUALLY handle groups of 12 15 people without become too frightened.
