Smallish non shedding dog breed!?
We have 2 children under 5 very well behaved, I'm not just saying that cause they are related, they truly are. They listen, do what they are told to do, most of the time. And travel allot to the beach. When we are home though there is lots of room to run around. I was thinking beagle? But they seem to adventures? I also liked the canaan dog? and the Entlebucher Sennenhund? I know all dogs shed, but would like a dog that doesn't shed as much? Thank you

Hi, i'm looking for a small non shedding family dog. Our family had already decided to get either a Maltese or Bichon frise.But we discovered that their not good family dogs. So, we searched and didn't really find any good family dogs that are small and low to non shedding.Are they any breeds, pure breeds that fits what we want? And if their are, does anyone know some good breeders or where we can find one.Thanks in advance HikariAlso, i have 4 kids, 12, 8, 3, and 6months. This is why we unfortunatly cant get the " old grandma dogs" because they don't like little kids tugging on their hair and tail ect.

What is the best non shedding dog breed?
Preferably smallish. Must be good with children and cute Also prefer it fairly easy to potty train.

Dog breed opinion cavalier king charles spaniel or non shedding dog breed...?
i might get a puppy in september october. but i don't know which dog breed to pick... i very very very like the cavalier king charles spaniel breed i adore it but i'm allergic to animal fur and my eyes and fingers swollen with little itchy bubbles on them in no time , if i stay too long with it. now i'm thinking of getting a non shedding breed like the maltese or poodle and the rest of its family or even the bichon frise.oh,please help X 3Clara

I'm looking for a dog breed. Requirements 1. Small Medium sized2. Non shedding3. Prefferably not overprotective, yappy little brats4. Not a Toy Poodle or any other kind of poodle.5. Not too hyper, more of a nice mellow type6. Tolerant Good with kids and strangers7. Doesn't chase people and nip at their heels8. Preferably short hairedOk, first of all, this is not my first dog. I am not an idiot. I know you have to train dogs, but some have different personality traits than others because of breed. For some of you who are trying to " save the dog" from being expected too much of, I'm not cruel or dumb. I'm just looking for suggestions. I care as much about animals, probably more, than a lot of you. SO STOP IMPLYING THAT I CAN'T HANDLE A DOG

A good small (non-shedding) dog breed for a family?
Please give me a list ideas of dog breeds that fall under this category. They MUST be non shedding dogs allergies to shedding dogs . It would be in a family that has parents and 2 kids ages 10 13 . Small NOT constantly barking no guard dog , also not constantly jumping Non Shedding Family Friendly kinda active as in not sleeping all day Yes, I know that every dog sheds, but just not a lot minimal . I am fine with a welcoming bark small jump, just not constantly. Any breeds? What are the dogs qualities?Sorry, no miniature snauzers how ever you spell it , I know 3 of em 2 diff. people and they bark too much, gaurd dog. Sorry Poodles are big,also poodles require too much grooming, too much $$$ and time. What is a good non-shedding dog breed?
I'm thinking about buying a dog and I want a dog that is non shedding or barely sheds at all. Are there any long haired dog breeds that don't shed? And what about large dog breeds?

I'm deciding to get a dog and it has to be small and non shedding. I am out a lot because of school and after school activities so it has to be a dog that doesn't need as much attention.I have my eyes on a Maltese. Or a Bichon Frise. Are they good dogs that match my description? If not, are there any breeds that are to my description of a perfect dog? Also, if you suggest another breed of dog, I would be happy to consider it.
