Can somebody give me a list of outdoor dog breeds?
I have always wanted a dog ever since I was five and now my mum is letting me have though she says that it will have to live outside. We already spend a lot of time outdoors in the patio that is undercover, about several hours a day. I would much rather have the dog living indoors but my mum will not let me and my religion is Islam and my religion forbids people to keep a dog indoors.Though at night time the dog will be sleeping in the garage as it is pretty warm in there,though during the day it shall be outside,I have a quite a big garden for the dog,also it will be brought into the house every day for an hour or two for socialization. So could I please have a list of outdoor dog breeds?

Hi. I've been looking for a dog that can live outside during the day while no one's home and at night. I'm not worried about overheating or getting cold as much as the mental affect of a dog being outside by himself for that long because I've researched ways to cope with the heat and cold. The rest of the day, one of my family members will be interacting with him a walk run at least once a day , or he'll be inside in a medium sized closed off area. What dog breeds are best suited for my lifestyle? I've been looking at the hound group such as the beagle, harrier and foxhounds. Would they be good choices?Ah sorry, I accidentally deleted that I'll bring the dog in on the hottest days of summer and coldest days of winter. And how did dog's survive before people? Did they go and build themselves little air conditioned huts? However I aknowledge the fact that dogs have evolved into almost entirely indoor creatures, which is why I'm asking which are best suited.
What is the best outdoor dog breed?
I would really like a bigger sized outdoor dog to be active with. I would want a breed with a really friendly nature, and also active. Preferably with as little health issues as possibly. I don't want any show dogs or anything. Just a friendly, active pet. Suggestions??
