What do YOU think are the 3 smartest dog breeds?
By smart, I'm referring to how easy they are to train and maintain the knowledge and how eager they are to learn.Id have to say 1. Border Collie2. Shetland Sheepdog3. German ShepherdI know that most experts agree that these breeds are definitely in the top 10 along w like the poodle.Herding breeds just seem to rule at agility and obedience I'm partial of course being a Sheltie owner. Shelties are usually super smart though Border collies are so intense it is sometimes spooky They definitely " rule"

It was on my Yahoo home page but I didn't get to read it. I saw that Collies I'm assuming Border Collies and Papillions were on it. I know that Border Collies are usually 1 on every list followed by such breeds as German Shepherds, Retrievers, Shelties which I have , and Poodles. I know Papillions are smart but was surprised to see them on a top list. That's why I'd really like to see this article in particular. So if you have a link to that article that was ONLY on the Yahoo home page yesterday I've read tons of other articles so I don't need those , could you please give it to me? THANKS

i need a dog that is smart obedient easily trainable good at agility. ease of training low shedding preferred, not compulsary extremely cute i dont like the look of most working dogs border collie, gsd, doberman, kelpie,cattle dog etc the dog must be obedient in the sense that it is easily trainable for tricks not working with sheep and all that jazz. for example i hear yorkies, japanese chin, papillon, jrt are good with tricks, but i need a head turning dog. imagine a chihuahua herding cattle something as head turning as that the cuteness of the dog must be general cuteness example tot he public a pomeranian might be cuter than a pit bull, although in my opinion its the opposite This is for a novel and accuracy is greatly appreciated.thankyouthanks
