Question: Help please will someone tell me how to successfuly update my nintendo wii?

My wii works fine on online games but i cant go on wii connect or nintendo shop because my wii will not update when i try to, its really getting on my nerves now so pleeeaaassseeee help :)

There are two ways to do this, firstly, it is worthwhile to check your message board once in a while as every so often, you should receive a message saying there is an update available for your wii. In addition to this, there is a link in the message to update your console. If you cannot see this, there is another way to perform an update. Go to the wii options, and look for system update, this will take you straight there. ( You will need an internet connection to search for updates) Hope this helps.

Try reconnecting it with the WiiConnect 24.

Click the "Wii " button in the menu, then click "Settings ", then click to Page 2, go to "Internet ", then "Agreement/ Contact " and you're ready to go! BUT, I recommend you DO NOT update your Wii because mostly these updates don't do anything but block homebrew and hacks. Here, take a look: wiibrew.org

Wii shop channel - wii update or wait for mail and from nintendo telling you to update which will have link sorry though it was on shop channel might be under settings though
