Question: Is playstation network having a problem?

I have the slim ps3 and earlier today i was able to connect it to the internet and now my ps3 doesnt want to connect to the internet because it doesnt want to obtain the ip address and its not a problem with the router because my wii is connected to the internet and its working fine so please can you help me how to fix it

If its not obtaining an IP address, then its a problem with your connection. If it said it wasn't connecting to the PS Network, then it would be something up with the Network. Check to make sure all of your cables are plugged in. If they are or you're using wifi, power cycle your modem and router. To do this, unplug both of them, wait 30 seconds, then plug them back in (modem first). Wait for your connection to restart and it should work.
